Description
In 1975, Pat Williams began the Masters of Organizational Development (MSOD) program at Pepperdine with an ambitious vision: "like Lewis and Clark, the MSOD student will lead an expedition into unknown territory—the organization of the future and its service to (hu)mankind.” Fifty years later, the MSOD program has graduated 1,300 transformative change leaders who have made a difference in the world through improving organizational performance and supporting people in realizing their potential. To sustain this legacy, we need your help. We recognize that changing circumstances may affect your ability to give. Your gift of any size will be greatly appreciated.
Three ways to give
This Pepperdine Gives, we have three ways for you to show your support.
MSOD Founders Scholarships:
Strengthen the Long Grey Line by making an MSOD education accessible for diverse students who could not otherwise afford the program. Scholarship recipients have included African American, Asian, Alaskan Native American, and Latinx students with countries of origin including Costa Rica, Ghana, Mexico, Italy, and China.
MSOD Director's Excellence Fund:
Provide strategic funding for the program director’s use in continuing to enhance the caliber and relevance of our MSOD program. Funding is crucial to support the participation of Learning Group Consultants in the MSOD program. Their involvement directly enhances the quality of student learning and professional development. Without adequate resources, the program risks losing the invaluable mentorship and guidance that these consultants provide. This fund would help subsidize, in part, the Learning Group Consultant’s travels and accommodations.
Advance the field of Organization Development and the reputation of the MSOD program, by supporting the innovative research efforts of our esteemed faculty members. This fund is designed to provide some of the necessary resources for faculty to pursue groundbreaking research, contribute to academic knowledge, and influence best practices in the industry.
We are grateful for your partnership. On behalf of the MSOD Community, thank you.
To make a donation by mail, please send a check payable to Pepperdine University, 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90263. Designate the specific fund in the memo line.
