Description
Nestled above Lake Geneva, the Chateau d’Hauteville is Pepperdine’s newest international campus, building on the legacy of the Lausanne program. The Chateau is an 18th-century castle built in the European style, and the property includes 67 acres of land, coach houses, a winepress, gardens, fountains, stables and a creek. Pepperdine owns the entirety of the property and its various elements — including farmland and vineyards.
But the Switzerland program is about so much more than the facility itself. It is a home for current and future undergraduate students who are being transformed by living cross-culturally. The culture of the program is an extension of the rich legacy of the Lausanne program, but now they are able to reside in a stunning and historic facility.
